This song.. *sigh* grr..rar. This has been one of those stubborn songs, kind of reminded me of stutter in that it never turns out quite right. I have the lovely Mux working on the drum track though, so a better version shall be out soon.
I did all the elements in this song and you will even hear my debut bass guitar playing. There are some changes I'd like to make to it, but right now I am out of ideas. Anyway, here are the lyrics.
Repelled and tossed like a kamikaze current
Expelled and frosted bliss of cherry juice
Salty lips corrupted her wounds and ignited her eyes
Blue velvet curls up inside her and kisses her goodnight
Swim with me inside my ironic delight
Intoxicate me, thrill me
I need a place to hide
I fumble to feel you
I taste you, my velvet ride
Delicate and worn like a rustic string
Plucked and seasoned rain of amethyst
Callused hands sweetened her voice and unleashed her feet
Blue velvet invokes her dream and takes her for a ride

right on has a great feel to it, and like your vocals in the back, in the opening. Damn girl you are getting better with each tune.

Yea, that intro is amazing--mysterious, exciting, very cool. Love the keyboard atmospherics, and the trippy interludes. The acoustic guitar riff is great, and the electric lead is big-smile music. Your vocals are dangerous. Can't wait to hear the next mix.

Reminds me a little of the Cranberries in some way...
I very much like it. It's very pretty and melodic. Vocals are very nice and lyrics are intriguing.
I like the blend of instrumentation...the acoustic and electronic blended together...

great song, the percussion could use some variation, but i hear mux is on the way. the slicer effects on the guitars get a bit much, putting a little too much emphasis on the eigth notes, but the thump IS part of the hook of this song. i could hear a sparse piano part or something in there. a couple missed notes in that solo in the end, i wanted the guitar to unleash hell a bit more too. you did a lot of very cool filter work on this as well, great song. i don't need to tell you again how much i love your voice, great job amiga.

Smooth and dreamy. I like how the distance in the mix creates the dreaminess, but at the same time, I wish that the music sometimes had a more present feel. Perhaps a bit of a change in sonic positioning during the course of the song would be interesting. Just my and not worth more than that.
The composition itself is quite good. I like the lead guitar quite a bit.

Wow, your voice is devine, seriously, very hypnotizing!! Your bass skills are very good, I couldn't tell 'bout listening to this that you've just started. I like the simplicity of the bassline though and I muchly enjoy the combination with the accoustic guitar!! Brings in a bit of variety...Those backin' vocals are very sweet, kinda angelic, as Tsand said: dolphins alike.I'm liking what you made out of it, and personally, I wouldn't advise you to put drums on, nevertheless, there's nothing to lose when experimenting...The distant outro is a very cool idea, really, nice touch to finish a ambient, dreamy song!
